This event is being brought to you by the Altavista Area Chamber of Commerce. To learn more about the Chamber, click here

The Altavista Quilt Festival is proudly organizing and creating - with your help! - a community quilt as a way to bring the spirit of Community and to assist the needy in our area.

For $5.00 per square, anyone can create a quilt square and contribute it to the community quilt. The Altavista Chamber will have it bound, quilted and on display at the Quilt Festival.

The theme is "Hometown Memories" and the quilt square needs to be 9 inches and your choice of color and design.

The deadline for submission of the quilt block is MARCH 25, 2009.

We would LOVE to get many squares representing the entire Altavista community and look forward to PROUDLY displaying it at the Festival.

All proceeds will go to DAWN, a local volunteer agency that provides emergency services to the needy in our area. We are pleased to assist DAWN and remain grateful for the work they are doing throughout Altavista.
